What is Learning & Co?

Learning & Co is a premium school-readiness and tutoring program based in the Lower Blue Mountains, NSW. Our programs help children build strong foundations in literacy, numeracy, confidence, and independent learning — before and during their primary school years. All sessions are delivered by qualified teachers in small groups to ensure personalised support and meaningful learning outcomes.

Who are the programs designed for?

Who teaches the classes?

All sessions are led by qualified, NESA-accredited school teachers. Our educators bring years of classroom experience and are also experienced in working with children in small-group and one-on-one settings.

How do I enrol my child?

Parents can enrol through our online booking system. You will be able to:
•      View available sessions
•      Provide information about your child
•      Securely complete payment
Once your booking is confirmed, you will receive an email with full program details.

What payment methods do you accept?

Accepted Answer

We accept secure online payments through PayPal and Stripe. You can pay using a credit or debit card, or via your PayPal account. Payment is required in full one week prior to the commencement of classes.

Can my child join mid-term?

Mid-term enrolment may be available depending on class availability. Please get in touch and we will do our best to accommodate your child. We recommend enrolling at the start of a term for the best learning experience.

How large are the classes?

Class sizes are intentionally kept small to maximise learning outcomes:
•      School Readiness: up to 10 children with two teachers
•      Learning Labs: maximum of 5 students
•      1:1 Tutoring: individual sessions
Small groups allow teachers to provide personalised support and closely monitor each child's progress.

Question 10

Do parents stay during sessions?

Parents are asked to drop off and collect their child at the start and end of each session. This supports children in building independence and settling into the learning environment. Our teachers are experienced in helping children transition confidently.

How long are sessions?

Session lengths vary by program:
•      School Readiness: 2 hours
•      Learning Labs: 60 minutes
•      1:1 Tutoring: 1 hour

What does my child need to bring?

Accepted Answer

Children just need to bring themselves and a water bottle. All learning materials are provided by Learning & Co.

What happens if my child misses a session?

We understand that illness and other commitments can arise. If your child is unable to attend a session, please notify us as soon as possible. Make-up sessions are offered at our discretion depending on availability. Missed sessions are not automatically refunded but we will always try to find a suitable solution.

Do all educators have a Working with Children Check?

Yes. All Learning & Co educators hold current NSW Working With Children Checks. Child safety is our highest priority and we maintain full compliance with all relevant NSW regulations.

What is your supervision policy?

All children are supervised by qualified teachers at all times during sessions. Our small group sizes mean that every child receives attentive, individualised supervision throughout the program. Children are not left unsupervised at any point.

What happens if my child is unwell?

Please do not send your child to a session if they are unwell. We ask that you notify us as soon as possible if your child cannot attend. This helps us maintain a safe and healthy environment for all children and educators. Please refer to our terms and conditions for information about missed sessions.
