Continuing the journey once school begins

Each lab focuses on a specific skill area, delivered in small groups by qualified teachers in an engaging, supportive environment.

Writing Lab

Lab 01

The Writing Lab helps young learners build strong foundations in writing during the early years of primary school. Through fun, hands-on activities, children explore storytelling, learn how sentences work, and practise sharing their ideas through drawing, speaking, and writing.

Students develop confidence as they experiment with words, create simple stories, and learn basic grammar and punctuation. They are guided to organise their thoughts and express their ideas clearly for different purposes.

Children will develop

Confidence in creating and sharing their own stories

Understanding of sentences, grammar and punctuation

The ability to organise and express ideas clearly

Creativity and curiosity about language and writing

The Reading Lab helps children build strong early reading skills in a supportive and engaging environment. Through interactive activities, shared reading, and guided practice, students learn how letters and sounds work together to form words.

By exploring a variety of stories and engaging with language in meaningful ways, children strengthen their comprehension skills and grow their enjoyment of reading — becoming confident, enthusiastic readers.

Children will develop
